Happy Holidays!

Pine treed that are high,
give light at night.
They shine so bright,
it's Christmas Time!

Stop the fight,
make everything right.
Give love tonight,
it's Christmas Time!

A greeting you will like,
in a card that you will find.
Just always smile,
for its Christmas Time!

Our school wishes you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Preschool Education wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2016!!!

6th grade pupils would like to improve their writing skill. So that, we decided to start our improving by doing the following activity: Digging deeper.

They had to fulfill three holes: in the first hole the pupils wrote simple sentences; in the second hole, good sentences; and in the third hole they wrote their best sentences.

They spent a great time doing the activity and the results were fantastic! Here you have some of them.

2016 Calendar - 5th EP

This month, 5th grade pupils created a 2016 calendar in Enjoy English subject. This work was a project together with Arts.

In order to create an original work, they were able to use different kinds of papers and art materials.

Once they had finished their own calendar, they decorated and coloured each month's calendar. They added special dates (classmates' birthday, English festivities... for example) or just leave it blank.
Finally, they punched holes and connectes the pages with ribbons or rings.

It has been an economical, fun, and creative project for the students and a nice gift for their families!

Find someone who... - 6th EP

6th grade pupils are studying the future tense with going to. In order to do it in a funnier way than our books, we decided to play a game.

Here you have some photos which were taken while they were doing the activity. As you can see, they had a great time and they practiced what we learnt in the previous lessons.

Here you have another video with some examples of what we did. The pupils were a little bit nervous... however, they passed with a good mark! What do you think?

Food Pyramid - 2nd EP

Last week, 2nd Primary pupils talked about healthy food.

Children drew a large Food Pyramid on a cardboard, cut out heathy foods from magazines and they glued the heathy foods on their cardboard. Then, they wrote the name of each food section in the pyramid (grains-breads, meats, vegetables, fruits, milk...). Finally, they showed their completed collage and named the foods on it.

Here you have a video in which you can watch their great works. Enjoy it!

Exploring our senses! - 1st EP

In Science, 1st Primary pupils studied the five senses in English. Last Wednesday, we carried out an investigation to explore our taste sense. So that, we had to taste different flavours: salty, sweet, sour and spicy.

Many pupils tasted some flavours for the first time: salt, pepper, sugar, icing sugar, curry, lemon, blueberry, among others. While some students did strange faces when they tasted these flavours, others liked them.

It was a very nice experience and we really enjoyed it.

Halloween is coming...

Halloween is coming soon.
We must buy pumpkins,
make a Jack-o'Lantern
 and bake a pumpkin pie.

Halloween is coming soon.
Feel it in the air.
Witches ride on broomsticks,
 ghosts hide everywhere.

Halloween is coming soon.
Goblins are going to chase you!
As you round the corner,
 one of them says: "Boo!!"
