Happy Halloween!

As one of the world's oldest holidays, Halloween is still celebrated today in several countries around the globe, but it is in North America and Canada that it maintains its highest level of popularity. Every year, 65% of Americans decorate their homes and offices for Halloween...a percentage exceeded only by Christmas. Halloween is the holiday when the most candy is sold and is second only to Christmas in terms of total sales.

If you would like to know how different countries celebrate Halloween, have a look at the following webstie. It's really interesting!

Halloween 2015 - 4th EP

Some 4th Primary students made a Halloween parade and they also prepared a Halloween song for VEDRUNA School pupils.

Halloween 2015 - 1st EP

Last Friday, the students of 1st of Primary Education made masks because of the Halloween celebration. The activity was very funny not only for the pupils, but also for the teachers.

It was also a useful activity to put into practice the colours and shapes' names in English as well as to learn new vocabulary: pumpkin, ghost, vampire, cut, stick...
